Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to create a strong first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers form their first thoughts about your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this assists us in determining what measures we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with touched up paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Welcome Home" to a buyer? Touring your home with a buyer's eye, I'll suggest adjustments that enhance Open House appeal.
I'll tell you take away anything that gives the impression of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Knickknacks, sentimental items, family photos, and play time works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "generalize" the home so buyers can imagine it as their new house.
I know exactly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to get changed, fixtures that could use shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively affect the sale.
Potential buyers expect a property that invites them inside. Items that could be unsightly should go into storage in order for your home to have general appeal at every showing.

Setting the Stage
During your Open House, we want to capture buyers' attention. Lighting is critical and we'll draw back curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests tour your home and ensure a pleasing fragrance flows from every area. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and place pillows on your couch and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home is their future home. |
